SELLING – 100% Possession, 50% Semen Interest with La Muneca – England retaining ½ semen interest with no possession. We will market the semen as a team and will pro-rate all net semen sales.

LMC ECC Polled Amigo 1/9 (PP) was our first calf born last year and has been first on our bull list many times as he offers what we all want in our herd bulls – a fertile, good uddered, productive mama, a well-known sire that is predictable, docility, muscle, pedigree clout, performance, eye appeal, correctness, structural soundness and to wrap it all up BUTTS, GUTS and NUTS. We have liked this bull since he was born and you should see his maternal sister born the other day sired by LMC LN Polled Pappo that is really good. PLUS, HE IS HOMOZYGOUS POLLED which gives him great semen sales potential in all kinds of markets.

Polled Amigo 1/9 ranked 9th overall in the Test, 4th in Scrotal Circumference, 7th in BW and 15th in Avg. Daily Gain. On his ABBA EPD’s, he is in the top 8% BW with a -0.3 which should make him a darn good heifer bull, top 18% for Scrotal, top 20% for Milk and top 22% for marbling.  Add to this performance, the fact that he is line-bred +LMC LF Ambassador being out a Grandson crossed with a daughter should add some predictability to his calves. His sire’s popularity is growing daily with Brett Nobbs reporting great success with his Pathfinder babies in Australia. Pathfinder semen topped our recent LMC & Friends GIVING THANKS VII selling for $1,550 to David Lawrence. MIL GRACIAS to all of our buyers that helped us raise $49,570 for Scholarships.

We own his Ambassador sired dam with our ole buddy Mike England who like us likes moderate, practical cattle that wean 50% + of their body weight at 205 days. This cow does it every year. She makes me wish we still had every Ambassador cow we have sold. We bought her dam from an Old School Polled Breeder Glen Koelemay. She had seven generations of Polled breeding in her pedigree.

This bull can help many cows and will be easy to promote which we look forward to doing with our new partner. This bull will be a great investment at any price and could very well top the sale.
