Lot 89 - MYA WORTHAM - HOGS

Grade 3 - HOGS - My name is Maya Wortham and I am showing a market gilt. Her name is Kali. I named her that because she is calico. This is my first year showing and I am very excited. Kali was scared when I first got her. Eventually I got her to calm down by putting time and effort into her. I learned lots of new things this year. The main thing I learned was about feeding. I had to feed her twice a day. I had to be careful because if you didn't give the right amount of food then Kali could get an upset stomach. She weighs 230 pounds. I also had to walk her everyday so I could get better at showing and she could get her exercise. The main thing was keeping her pen clean this is something you also have to do daily. I am thankful for the opportunity.
