Lot 8 - PCC Southern Red 97/8

Kicking off our red offering is PCC Southern Red 97/8. We found her on our long road trip to Perry, GA , last summer and the 2018 All American at our friend’s Al Lara in Winfield, AL. She was our pick of his powerful spring babies.
97/8 should make a good show heifer and super brood cow. She is sound made and huge bodied. She has been handled since she was very young and is quiet tempered. She offers excellent dark cherry red pigment with the modern moderate frame and body dimension.
Her Detering Bros. sire’s lineage is no stranger to successful generations of Red Brahman pedigrees. He combines the Ironman bull, a Winchester Magnum son with the foundation Magnetic bull.
Lot 8’s mother is sired by a Windy Hill bred bull that goes back to the old V8 901 bull, a great foundation female producer and again traces back to an old Detering Bros. cow.
97/8 is just what so many judges and breeders are struggling to find right now. Moderate, soft-sided, sound and complete.
