The sire to Miss KI 64 is Mr. V8 164/8 a young herd sire that was purchased in the Fall 2018 V8 Ranch Bull Sale where he was the #1 bull for growth, #1 for WW EPD and one of the gentler bulls in the test. He is sired by +Mr. V8 458/7 “Noble” the sire of the most winning progeny of the past three years. The dam to Mr. V8 164/8 is +JDH Ms. Water Manso a proven daughter of the legendary Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Sir Liberty Manso with 52 offspring to her credit that includes the International Champion and donor dam Miss V8 844/7, the many time champion and V8 Ranch herd sire Mr. V8 243/7, and the National Champion Miss V8 626/7 along with 11 more donor dams and 2 proven sires.
The dam of 64 is Miss V8 798/8 who we purchased from V8 Ranch. This amazing donor is extremely fertile calving first naturally at 30 months of age. The superior production of 798/8 should be expected as she is backed by some of the most proven & popular genetics in the breed. Her sire is the International Champion Mr. V8 604/7 “Man of Steel”. After we saw the superiority of 798/8 we purchased her dam, Miss V8 491/7, who is the result of crossing the Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Karu Manso 800 with +Miss V8 464/6 who was an International & World Brahman Congress Champion and is likely best known as the dam to +Mr. V8 191/7 & Mr. V8 194/7.
As you might expect with a female that has this much growth and backed with such superior genetics Miss KI 64 has a superior genetic profile that ranks in the top 2% of the breed for Growth, 1% for Ribeye Area, and 5% for Marbling.
