Lot 7 - Miss Polled Sandglass 24/1 (S) - Scurred Replacement Heifer

Miss Polled Sandglass 24/1 (S) is the result of one of the most proven POLLED genetic matings in the breed.  She is 1 of only 3 heifers that have resulted from this mating with one being a sale feature in the 2022 England Cattle Company “Brahmans on the Rio” Production Sale and the other being ECC K-K Polled Kylie 733 who was a many time champion including being named the Reserve Grand Champion of the 2019 Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show.    This moderate framed, dark pigmented, heavy structured, deep ribbed, and thick ended female is sired by the 2014 National Champion +JDH Mr. Manso 840 “The Graduate”.  840 has been one of the most proven sires around the world with offspring accumulating championships which helped place him in the ABBA Register of Renown and recognized as the sire of the most champions at the All American National Junior Show.  The dam 24/1 is LMC LF Polled Elma 214/4 who ranks #3 for number of polled registrations in the ABBA.  This prolific dam has produced 42 progeny to include numerous show winners, two known herd sires, sale toppers, and herd influencers.  It should be known that Elma is extremely fertile as validated by her average on four aspirations of 79 oocytes that converted to 31 embryos, with reverse sorted semen.  We have always thought that Elma was one of the top daughters sired by +Mr. V8 279/7 and jumped at the opportunity to purchase this proven donor.
