JDH Lady Manso 497/1 is an October 2019 halter broke show prospect.  In addition to having the preparation to hit the ring she comes with a great build that is growthy, long, level, deep, sound structured, with ample muscle all in a feminine package.  This elite female is sired by the 2014 National Champion +JDH Mr. Manso 840 “The Graduate” who over the past year sired the Grand & Reserve Grand Champion Females at the Guatemalan National Show and the Ft. Worth Open Brahman Show.  As a result of his success siring show winners 840 reached the Register of Renown and ranked as the #4 sire in 2019 for show points accumulated by progeny and ranked as the seventh most widely used sire.  The dam to 947/1 is JDH Lady Manso 575 who is a regular calver with one of her daughters being sold through the J.D. Hudgins-Forgason Cattle Company “Genetics on Parade” Online Sale to Seth Barner as a show heifer that eventually became a cornerstone dam.  JDH Lady 575 is a daughter of JDH Pecos Manso 28/4 who was one of the most widely used sires in Mexico and Colombia and out of a daughter of the many time champion and proven sire JDH Mr. Manso 959/3. To further add to the breeding value of JDH Lady Manso 497/1 she ranks in the top 1/3 of the breed for growth (WW,YW) and top 20% for Ribeye Area which should make her valuable to any progressive program no matter their focus.
