A sale feature, beautiful smooth polled cow sells as a 3 in 1! This very gentle cow has never produced a horned calf and has sent 2 heifers to our show barn, one currently residing there now. This cow has been flushed successfully here at the ranch and we are keeping embryos in our tank for future production here at V8.

An own daughter of the top producing polled cow in the U.S., +Miss V8 98/6, this cow is truly outstanding. She is a full sister to Miss V8 510/6, the dam of the breed’s only smooth polled National Champion, Miss V8 100/7 and the dam of last years high selling lot Mr. V8 279/7 (P) that sold to Southern Cattle Company for $30,400. Phenotypically is more powerful than 510/6. Being out of +98/6, she is also a maternal half sister to Mr. V8 51/6. At this time, we have 7 daughters of +98/6 in production here at V8. In the 2013 V8 Power of Production Internet Sale a maternal sister, Miss V8 195/7, sold for $23,100 to Southern Cattle Co. The +98/6 cow has sons serving as herd sires for SRS Cattle Co., Sweet Lake Land & Oil Co., Abesto Sonjals from Mexico, Smitty Hill, and Bexly Bros. She is still in production here at the ranch and nursing a spring 2014 polled bull calf as a 14 year old cow.

Miss V8 507/6 ranks in the top 5% for milk EPD and is a front pasture cow. Very gentle, deep bodied, a nice udder and dark pigmented, she just stands out. She has a top dark pigmented polled bull calf at side that is sired by our JDH Cannon bull that sure has herd sire potential. With Cannon as his sire, he just presents a little different breeding to be used on polled genetics. He also is very gentle and quiet. As an added bonus, Miss V8 507/6 sells safe in calf 3 months to Mr. V8 675/6. This mating could produce a great one.
