Lot 5 - EMILY HALL

Grade 12 - RABBITS - Hi!  I’m Emily Hall the daughter of Jeff and Mary Hall of New Baden.  I’m a senior at FHS.  I’ve shown rabbits with the RCFA since I was in 3rd grade.  I’ve spent countless hours in the barn working with my rabbits.  I feed and water them everyday clean their cages and breed them.  It can be frustrating when they don’t breed but you just have to keep working with them.  Raising rabbits is definitely not for quitters! I have learned to have patience and to be cautiously optimistic about raising rabbits.  We are the only exhibitors who breed our animals and show their young as a project.  Some years your rabbits don’t want to breed.  Sometimes all your babies die.  Other years everything goes well and you are rewarded with bunnies to show at the fair. Thank you for giving us this opportunity.
