Howdy! My name is David Williams. I am a sophomore at Bremond High School and I am a member of Bremond High School’s FFA as well as the Robertson County 4H. This is my Simbrah cross steer that was to be shown in the American Division at the 2020 Robertson County Fair. I have raised this steer since he was born on January 14 2019. He is now 14 months old and weighs 1225 pounds. I took him to some jackpot shows over the fall where we earned the Grand Champion American Steer title as well as winning Intermediate Steer Showman together. Throughout this project I have learned about hard work breeding the birthing process vaccinations hoof trimming needs and the nutritional needs of steers. I guess the biggest lesson of all that I learned is that the best plans don’t always work but you keep moving forward.
