Hello my name is Brenna Kenney I am 16 years old and I am in the QI Roberts FFA chapter in Putnam County. This year is my 4th year showing animals in the Fair. Unfortunately this years Putnam County Fair has been cancelled due to the Coronavirus. Besides showing animals I also enjoy playing softball. I play on Interlachen High School Softball and Keystone Rec Ball.
I am selling both my steer and swine this year and I was also going to be showing my heifer. My CharolaisX steer weighs approx 1457 lbs. To break even I am looking for $2.40/lb.
With my money that I earn from Fair I always put it in my savings account. I use this money for my next years project with buying the animal feed and any utilities I may need to purchase. If I do not get at least the break even price then I might not be able to purchase an animal for fair next year.
