He was also selected Supreme Champion Bull by world renowned judge PJ Budler in the 2020 Cattle Kings Virtual Show.
Julio’s consistent success in the ring is matched by an impressive set of carcass and performance oriented EPD’s. He is currently in the Top 10% for the breed in 9 traits, including the Top 1% for TI, REA, CW, and Weaning Weight. He is in the Top 2% for MWW and Year, as well as in the Top 4% for API and Marbling. Finally, he sits in the Top 10% for ADG and sits in the Top 35% for Milk. As you can see, Julio is not just eye appealing, he has got the engine to go with it in terms of predictability.
His pedigree is unique, he is a full brother to Braxton Butler’s 2020 United Grand Champion Simbrah Female LMC BBS FAO Candace, who was a LMC GenePLUS high seller. Julio is a LMC Upgraded son out of the LMC BBS Jenna donor, making him a maternal brother to Cooper Mau’s reigning National Champion Female LMC BBS FAO Riley. He also represents LMC’s GOLDEN CROSS with LMC WFC Ms. Dream Girl on top and BBS Jennie Walker on the bottom.
