Lot 39 - GAIGE TOMASCIK - STEERS

Hello my name is Gaige Tomascik.  I am a 5th grader at Franklin Middle School and a member of Robertson County 4-H and Franklin Jr. FFA.  This year I raised a market steer.  He is a Charolais cross.  The name of my animal is Stallion.  The reason I named him Stallion is because we went off of the movie Rocky as the theme this year Rocky’s nick-name was the Italian Stallion.  Over this year I learned more about feeding my animals and how to get them ready to show.  I was big enough to break them when they were little this year also.  Every day I went to the barn to feed before school and after school I would feed and work them again.  On weekends they would get an extra workout.  My biggest accomplishment was that I got to clip my steer for the first time this year.
