When we got into the Braunvieh business, we were fortunate to get some sound advice from our good friend Roger McDowall. He recommended cattle with Vernon in their pedigree as they are competitive in all arenas. When we asked him if we should buy WTR Baylee (Vernon daughter), he said you can breed her to a goat and get a great one plus build your herd around her.
We took his advice and never turned back flushing her 11 times to 11 different sires of 3 different breeds with every calf selling for a premium. We bought her dam as well and later sold Broken Oak two full sibs to Baylee as herd bulls. We used several of his sons like WTR Jolt that worked great for us. This semen will produce you some really good cattle regardless of what you use it on.
Vernon is the COMMON DENOMINATOR in the pedigrees of more champions over the past 20 years than any other bull in the breed.
