Flex is an outstanding young herd sire with potential to become a legend here at Satterfield Ranch. Flex is sired by the “champion maker” himself +JDH Woodson De Manso and out of our top donor cow, Miss SNS 398/7. Flex is a “pretty boy” in terms of his phenotype, but don’t let that fool you he packs a big punch when you evaluate him from the back. Mr Flex is a long deep-sided bull with great muscling, good feet and legs, width from stifle to stifle, dark pigmentation, and fleshing ability. As an added bonus 279/6 provides great EPD’s including third percentile in yearling weight and fourth percentile in weaning weight. Mr Flex is also top ten percentile in carcass weight, ribeye area, and marbling. The sire of Flex’s dam is a thick made JDH Karu son, Mr SNS 71/4, which influenced our herd with outstanding fertility and carcass data. We still posses many 71/4 daughters on our ranch that play a great role in our operation contributing to longevity and maternal ability in their offspring. We honestly believe Flex would be a household name at this point in his life if his show career had not been cut short due to injury. Flex covered many mature cows this year as a two year old and held up tremendously in pasture conditions. His first calves have recently hit the ground and we can proudly say that these calves are STUDS!!!
