Here is a solid opportunity to get in on an unique bull that we believe will cross well with several of our females, LMC San Pepe. This J7N LMC Adelante son had us from hello and just kept coming on earning his spot in our show barn at weaning. At his first show, he was selected as the 2019 Reserve International Champion in Houston behind a LN LMC 12th Man son out of an LMC 6G Red Rock daughter bred by the Dr. Josh Pool Family. San Pepe went on to be selected Grand Champion Simbrah Bull at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show later that month.
His paternal grandsire Hagan’s Ante Up was International Champion and his maternal grandsire LMC 6G Red Rock was International Champion as well. Thus, the PEDIGREE CLOUT is there with San Pepe. Perhaps one of the most important attributes to San Pepe is his dam’s stellar udder quality and performance EPD’s where she ranks in the Top 2% for Maternal Weaning Weight, Top 3% for Yearling and Terminal Index, Top 4% for Weaning Weight, Top 15% for Milk and finally Top 25% in All Purpose Index. Major championship caliber look backed by strong performance and the kind of maternal influence you want your herd bull to have.
San Pepe’s dam was purchased in an LMC GenePLUS Online Sale and was bred by our good friends at 6G Ranch. She is an LMC 6G Red Rock out of a 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun daughter. San Pepe also adds a touch of Fleckvieh genetics from the productive Buzzard Hollow Ranch herd that 6G successfully utilized. Add the likes of LMC EF JW Black, LMC WFC Ms. Dream Girl, as well as the Triple Crown Winner LM LM Full House and you have one whale of a pedigree.
If you want to breed red Simbrah’s with some white on their heads, this bull will add that plus all the great performance traits, pedigree clout, cleanliness of sheath, muscle and correctness. San Pepe is in the Top 2% for Carcass Weight, Average Daily Gain, Yearling Weight, Top 3% for Weaning Weight and in the Top 10% for Maternal Weaning Weight.
Don’t miss this red, streak faced MEAT WAGON with a clean sheath and smooth eye appealing look about him. We’re excited about San Pepe here in Linn, Texas. EXCITING NEW OUTCROSS SIRE!
