Each sale we try to select a current or former junior member to assist with the marketing of their cattle.  This sale we selected Aubrey Ellis of Henderson, Texas.  As some know we’ve known Aubrey since birth and have assisted her as needed throughout her show career.  In 2014 we selected a heifer for Aubrey at Santa Elena Ranch.  We knew she was pretty special and after her second show when she was named Grand Champion of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Junior Heifer Show as a 10 month old baby we knew she was everything that we had hoped.  VL Elena 4/28 completed a successful show career with numerous wins and is now the “cornerstone” female for Aubrey’s program.  After having her first calf, the Ellis Family aspirated VL Elena 4/28 to +VL Rojo Apache 1/50.  It was felt that this would be the most ideal mating for two reasons: Phenotypically it would combine the moderate framed, deep ribbed, ultra-refined VL 4/28 with the growthier, longer bodied, and higher performing +VL Rojo Apache 1/50 and then secondly this cross would combine the two most dominate Santa Elena sire lines of Apache and VL Rojo Wiskey 1/48.  As a result Triple E Ms. Apache Rojo Rainy was born and as expected has ranked superior recently winning her class and reserve division at the Texas Junior Brahman State Show and winning her class and division at the National Junior Brahman Show.  As a result of her show ring success, outstanding phenotype, and breed leading pedigree Rainy has gained much attention from breeders in the USA and abroad.  In this sale Aubrey Ellis is offering 3 embryos of the same mating that produced Triple E Ms. Apache Rojo Rainy which will result in the offspring having a straight Santa Elena Ranch pedigree being sired by +VL Rojo Apache 1/150 and out of the Houston Junior Show Grand Champion VL Elena 4/28 (VL Rojo Wiskey 1/14 x VL Elena 103/6).  You simply cannot build a better pedigree that combines +VL Rojo Apache 1/50 who has sired an International Champion Cow and Get of Sire Champions at both the National & International Show; VL Rojo Wiskey 1/48 who sired a National Champion female and combines one of the most proven pedigrees in the breed; and VL Elena 103/6 one of the top donors for Santa Elena Ranch.  To complete this impressive package the resulting offspring should be moderate at birth, heavy at weaning, and the females should be heavy milking ranking in the top 3% of the breed.  This is truly a proven opportunity and we wish Aubrey the best of luck on her first sale as well as the lucky buyer!

Selling a package of three (3) female sexed embryos with a guarantee of one (1) 60 day pregnancy if implanted by a certified embryo technician.  If no pregnancy is achieved from the first three (3) embryos an additional embryo will be given.
