Howdy! My name is Trey Corn. I am currently a junior at Franklin High School. I have been participating in the Robertson County Commercial Heifer sale for 9 years now. I have grown up in this amazing program over the years due to my parents’ involvement. My brother and sister have also participated in it throughout the course of their shows careers. I am selling a pen of 2 open F-1 Brangus heifers that are 17 months of age.
Over my 9 years of showing commercial heifers, I have learned many valuable life lessons. Participating in this program has taught me record keeping skills and given me insight into the “real life” cow-calf operation. It has provided me with the knowledge and courage to be able to talk with cattlemen and potential buyers. I have gained lifelong friends through this competition. I have also gained many resources and contacts that will hopefully help me in the future as I start my own cattle company.
