It is with great pleasure that the Bar W Ranch can be on the ground floor helping to kick-off the new scholarship program for our Juniors. For nearly forty years we have tried to help the Brahman breed by sponsoring or donating to whichever cause is needed to promote the breed. This event is the "ultimate" so far.
We are giving what we think could be our "best" six month old dark-pigmented heifer. Just right for a Junior to get started with. Her sire is no stranger to top-notch producers or the show ring, +JDH Mr. Tula Manso 169/1, an own son of the +JDH Sir Liberty Manso 847/5. His offspring have won numerous championships over the years. This heifer's dam is a big, dark blue pigmented cow with a perfect udder and disposition to go with it. Her pedigree goes back to the bloodline we bred for many years out of the two sires from "Mr. MC 37". He goes back to V8, Hudgins and the famous JT White bloodlines.
"The Brahman Foundation is the beginning of a new endeavor for the growth of the Brahman breed and its members. It will help support the great foundation of the ABBA and our youth organizations that are already in place. The youth of our breed is the future for our breed and what we represent. "
