One might ask why is LMC selling this flush ? Simply put we believe in sharing our best and are very happy when our clients like Ryan Robinson (Lot 1) do well with our genetics. Check out the fancy heifer calves in Lot 1. He has a good supply of frozen embyros from this mating as well as she produced 25 embryos in the flush he bought at the 2017 Houston ABBA sale for $10,000. Indeed a great investment !!!
We are in the business of raising practical, moderate framed, heavy muscled, correct, good looking, well bred Brahman cattle that can compete in all arenas. We are proud of LMC Polled Passion. This cow family is one of our very best at LMC. It started when we teamed with the Schneiders by flushing our pick of the their recently acquired Santa Theresa herd which those folks had bought from the Koonce division of JDH. The cow we selected was a +JDH Datapack daughter of the 2000 National Champion +JDH Marri Holly Manso 50/6. We flushed her to LMC WFF Pistolero and produced six calves. OW and us decided to sell the pick of the litter in the ABBA Houston Sale. We named her LMC +S Polled Madonna. She sold for $20,000 to Kelly Barnard, Mike England and LMC.
The three of us virgin flushed her to +LMC LF Ambassador with the confidence that our GOLDEN CROSS would work as it always does. She produced four awesome heifer calves. We sold the pick of that litter in a LMC GenePLUS Online Sale. LMC bought out our partners paying $18,000 for her and also for the second pick, LMC Polled N Pretty as we could not make up our minds. Polled Passion had an illustrious show career, winning Reserve Grand in Houston and RGV, produced six pregnancies out of a virgin flush, had a great natural heifer calf by +MR V8 212/3, produced 37/44 good embryos in her first flush after calving. She has averaged 14 embryos per flush. In her only IVF flush she produced 26 good embryos.
She has produced awesome calves by Mr V8 139/7 (P/S), +MR V8 212/3, Mr V8 279/7 (P), Mr H Elijah Manso and MR V8 733/7 (P/S) “Polled Phenom.” We have sold seven of her calves for an average of $15,535 to Toby Cantu, Chuck Sellman Family, Doug Townsend, Nic Vondenstein, Mackie Simpson and Charlie Philip. Our grand kids are showing champion daughters by V8 279/7 and “Polled Phenom.”
We sold her dam in one of our GenePLUS sales last year for $33,250 to England Cattle and K-K Cattle Co. We look forward to their continued success with this great cow.
