120/6 is a long bodied, moderate, clean sheathed, big nutted, POLLED/S herd bull prospect that is sired by one of our best herd bulls, LMC POLLED Samson who is A BEEF MACHINE. His sire, LMC WFF Pistolero was our first POLLED herd sire born here at LMC whose influence is strong in our herd as we have several daughters and sons in our program. Polled Samson’s dam is the second POLLED cow we bought when we got started. She was bred by Joe Ward. Her nick name is “Samantha”. She is one of very few POLLED cows in the Register of Renown and is our best cow due to her tremendous production of top quality progeny from several different sires. You can appreciate her and her two sons featured in this sale as Lots 19 and 20 by studying their photos.
We like the 4.04% IMF score, the length, soundness, docility and look that this young bull offers. He will be two in May and is ready to breed some cows now. His maternal sister, LMC Polled Spice by +LMC LF Ambassador won it all for Winston Walters including the $10,000 from the San Antonio Jr. Show, the SA Open and Houston Jr. Shows. This bull’s dam is a young JDH cow (JDH Berkman daughter) that is a JDH Madison x JDH Karu cross which are two of their all time most productive sires both of which are past International Champion bulls. She has already weaned another really good heifer calf that recently sold to New Mexico at weaning.
