If you are looking for a bull that can inject muscle, growth, maternal influence, eye appeal with a birth weight that can be used on heifers then check JDH Mr. Manso 346/1 out.  Most cattlemen will pick him out based on his phenotype but his 69 lbs. BW and 1.7 BW EPD only adds value to the role that he could play in an operation.  He is sired by JDH Mr. Manso 423 who is one of our leading herd sires that is the result of an outcross JDH-Gubert Division bull and the maternal giant +JDH Charley’s Jazz.  Where things really get interesting and is likely the cause of his superiority is the bottom side of his pedigree where a full brother was mated to a full sister.  Some might consider this inbreeding but when you combine the Maternal Performance Sire (=)JDH Winchester with one of our leading donors who has produced 36 offspring we would have to call this a well-planned mating.  Everyone will have their favorite in this offering but we would encourage you to consider the possibilities that this young sire could play in your program as he truly does combine it all in an outcross pedigree package.
