Our bull AMS LOCO 7/01 placed 1st at the RIo Grande Valley Bull Gain test  (Senior Santa Gertrudis). He is sired by LJV 6/129 a (full LJV Mason brother) who in turn was sired by one of the top traits leader for yearly weights SR 710. LJV Mason 0/72 top herd sire for Strait Ranches that has produced some outstanding cattle for the Straits program. It doesn't stop there,  AMS LOCO also has outstanding genetics that are coming from the dams side. She has LJV VAQUERO a two time National High Points RESERVE CHAMPION. LJV VAQUERO also produced some outstanding cattle for Mr. Larry Sidebottom (LJV CATTLE CO). AMS LOCO finished out the RGV Gain Test with the final weight of 1645, final gain of 490, and a ADG 4.38 , REA of 17.07, and IMF 3.59. AMS LOCO ranks TOP 10% in YW, REA, TEND, SC, TOP 15% in MARB, and HCW.
