Lot 185 - AUDRA WARREN - RABBITS

Grade 9 - RABBITS - Hi I’m Grace Warren and I show meat pen rabbits. While raising and working with my rabbits I’ve learned responsibility, showmanship, sportsmanship and valuable life skills. I have to perform many tasks… I have to make sure they’re bred on the correct date and monitor the temperature of the barn so the rabbits don’t get too hot. I have to clean the rabbit barn at least once a week, and replace the fly traps so it stays clean. I have to feed the rabbits twice a day and make sure the nest boxes are set up and clean so the babies can be safe when they are born. Once it gets closer to the show I have to feed and weigh daily, work their fur and monitor their condition. After all of this it’s time to pick the best three for my meat pen. Then it’s up to the judges!
