Lot 177 - JAMIE LOPEZ - RABBITS

Grade 6 - RABBITS - Hi my name is Jamie Lopez. I am raising rabbits for the RCFA fair. This year I have a market pen of Californian meat rabbits. I have learned many things including hard work responsibility and showmanship. Having to take care of my breeding stock year around has taught me about hard work. Keeping rabbits alive under the sweltering summer heat is tough as well as keeping the rabbit barn clean. I have learned about responsibility in many way one way is by getting up early every morning to feed animals. Even though I have a busy schedule with school and sports I find time to work with my rabbits. I feed them twice a day and water daily. I check them for a number of health problems on a regular basis as well.
