Lot 174 - TREYCE GUECK - RABBITS

Grade 5 - RABBITS - This my third year to show rabbits. We breed our own in this county which means we have them year-round. Our babies are born 30 days after breeding. They need to be 10 weeks old at the fair. We feed them daily 18% protein to start then 15%-16% protein leading up to the fair along with a conditioning mix that contains black oil sunflower seeds oats barley peanut oil and ground flax. It is important to make sure they always have fresh water. We brush and weigh them every few days to know we are in the weight limit which is 3.5 to 5.5 lbs. The judge is looking for a pen of three rabbits that are identical and since they are meat rabbits it is best for them to be tall wide and with a good skirt. Thank you for helping us with the sale.
