Lot 173 - GENTRY WHITE - BROILERS

Grade 7 - BROILERS - My name is Gentry White. I am a 7th grader at Franklin Middle School and this is my fifth year participating in the Poultry Show with the Robertson County Fair Association (RCFA). My project for the 2020 RCFA is broilers. While my project is usually only a six week project it is an intense six weeks! While raising my broilers I learn responsibility independence ownership as well as character building. My project requires me to be aware of my broilers needs at all times. Many times my needs are put aside (like sleep) in order to better care for my broilers. Between checking and changing their water and feeders I am hands-on cleaning their house/pen. I have a great time with this project each year and each year I feel that I learn something new.
