Lot 170 - LANDEN LORENZ - BROILERS

Grade 9 - BROILERS - My name is Landen Lorenz I am a freshman at Franklin High School my project for the 2020 Robertson County Fair was raising a pen of broilers. Even though broilers are a shorter project it is definitely an intense one. I along with my family have spent countless hours over the last almost 5 weeks in the chicken pen providing fresh water feed bedding exercise and ideal temperature to grow these broilers to their highest potential. This year we actually upgraded our chicken pen to provide a more ideal growing environment and I believe it paid off! This has been an unprecedented year for the fair and through it all I have learned perseverance and the spirit of community. I have also learned to be truly thankful for the adults in our community that work so hard for all of us.
