Magic Jefferson 35/5 would be a great addition to any purebred Brahman or
crossbred operation! He has a low -0.1 Birth Weight EPD and a 76 lb actual
birth weight. He is an early maturing bull, passing his BSE at 17 months. He
displays good carcass merit with an adjusted IMF score of 4.01 coupled with
a 12.3 ribeye area and 1.24 ribeye area per 100 lb. Additionally, the Zoetis
DNA-test placed Jefferson in the top 20% of the breed for tenderness.
Jefferson's dam was a dark-pigmented, high-marbling bred heifer we purchased
from the Kallion Farms breeding program in College Station. Jefferson
represents the latest in Kallion Farm's progressive, carcass-oriented
genetics and is a half-brother to their young Kallion Tank 1664 herd sire.
His bloodlines trace back to Brahman breed greats, including: (=)JDH
Prescot, (=)JDH 204/2 YL, (+)JDH Sir Liberty, (+)JDH Remington, +TTT Suva
Crata 450 and (+)JDH Mr. Charley.
Jefferson is a cattleman's type of bull - low birth weight, good growth,
excellent carcass, early maturing with proven bloodlines. Take a good look
at this solid-built, young herd sire prospect!
