LMC Polled Samson is a super long, moderate, thick, big humped Pistolero son out of our number one cow, the Register of Renown Samantha that has followed in 707 foot steps and become our new MATRIARCH. Polled Samson measured 4.04% on his IMF Marbling score. He is a WALKING BEEF MACHINE and is a full sib to the popular LMC Polled Sambo owned by GEL Cattle Co.. Polled Samson is also a maternal sib to the popular many times champion LMC Polled Spice that won the $10,000 SA Scholarship for Winston Walters.
Polled Spice's full sister, LMC Polled Sugar is also leaving her mark on the breed with her champion daughters by LMC Apollo and the popular baby doll LMC FCC Polled Terra by JDH Atlas Manso that won Calf Champion at the 2015 All American for Claudia Kirk. Samantha will be in the history books someday as she is doing an incredible job of raising top quality polled cattle that compete well in all arenas.
We have a great set of calves from him this spring some of which are pictured below. He is working well on many different kinds of cows. His sire, LMC WFF Pistolero was one of the thickest Brahman bulls I have ever seen. We have several of his sons and daughters working in our herd. Co-owned with Larry Campbell.
100% of the proceeds will go to the La Muneca & Friends ANIMO Award that will be awarded every year at the AJBA All American Banquet to a unique AJBA member of any age that possesses what ANIMO stands for - spirit, commitment, desire, energy, passion, leadership and volunteerism. It will be a $1,000 award with the recipient being selected by the ABBA Youth Activities Committee Chairman, ABBA President, All American Coordinator, ABBA Executive Vice President and a Guerra Family Member. The funds are managed by the AJBA.
