Lot 158 - CODY CONNER - BROILERS

Grade 9 - BROILERS - My name is Cody Conner. Over the past three years of showing broilers at the fair I have learned many things about how to take care of something that needs constant care. With chickens you have a short amount of time to get these animals as big as possible so you must make sure they are properly fed and watered.  My first year of showing broilers most of them ended up dying due to poor temperature control and I couldn’t show that year. After that I was determined to learn more about proper broiler care. I have come to understand that broilers need a constant supply of fresh air fresh food fresh water and fresh shavings. I have been fortunate enough to make the sale ever since then. Showing animals at the county level has helped me be a more responsible person.  I enjoy showing animals and will continue to show for years to come.
