You talk about A MAMA COW in the making, this young polled female has the look, the capacity, the angularity, the power and pedigree to help someone start a great POLLED program. She is sired by the popular MR V8 279/7 (P) who has worked well in our program. HM Cattle Co. and LMC sold two full sisters earlier this year to Brad Giesbrect for $15,500 and four paternal sisters for an average of $8,437 to the Young, Quintanilla, Vacek and Flores families at an average of six months of months of age. Over all we averaged $8208 on these six young heifers.
Take a look at her mama below and you can appreciate where she gets a lot of her goodness from. Add to that the power of LMC WFF Pistolero, her paternal grand sire and +Lazy J Samanta, her paternal great grand dam and it gets even better. Then study her sire, LMC Polled Samson (see below) who had a 4.04% IMF score and you can see why we are so excited about this cow family.
It gets even better when you go deeper and pull up her dam, our 217 Heritage cow whose first three calves have averaged over 20g’s plus you bring in the V8 442/6 who has the highest power ranking of all the V8 herd sires. And then to top it all off look at the top side with the popular National and International Champion +JDH Mr Elmo Manso being the paternal grand sire.
