Without question Smokin Gun is the MOST influential sire today recently siring BOTH the International Champion and Reserve International Champion Red Females in addition to countless other winners which ranks him as the #1 sire for progeny with show points over the past 5 years.
In August, the same trip when we bought Rafiki, we saw JDH Lady Manso 705/6 in the herd of J.D. Hudgins-J. Forgason Division. After some arm twisting and him wanting to stay with more white colored cattle Mark agreed to let us have her. We have only aspirated 705/6 once when she produced extremely well and is now pregnant which all prove her fertility. As might be expected with her coloring she is sired by the National Champion and global icon +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso and out of a daughter of the Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Atlas Manso and a J.D. Hudgins donor who has produced a Maternal Merit daughter.
