The right herd bull can have a tremendous impact on your operation and is likely the most critical decision you will make for your breeding program. With that said, you want a bull that will give you the best chance to produce cattle that will increase your consumer demand. Both phenotype and genotype are important. We believe this pick offering offers ideal herd bull prospects to fit just about any operation. They are sound, correct and carry enough muscle from end to end to compliment an array of females. They are also paternal brothers to our recently acquired LMC BBS Primo, who could serve as the standard of excellence for the breed and is the sire to the Lot 6 LMC LN Prima donna heifer.
Their dam LMC BBS Jenna is a young superstar in our program that has transitioned from a many times champion for Faith Onstot into a gorgeous brood cow. She is sired by the exciting 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun bull, making her a paternal sib to our up and coming champion herd sire LMC MM Red Duke. Jenna’s dam BBS Jennie Walker is one of the breed’s most productive females and the 2009 Grand Champion Simbrah female at the highly coveted San Antonio Jr. Show for our partners the Boening’s winning Kayla a $10,000 SALE Scholarship. Jenna is a full sib to LMC BBS Tia and LMC BBS Manziel, both champions themselves having a positive impact on our herd. Their sire is one of Victor’s all time favorites, sired by the popular AI Simmental sire SAC Mr. MT and the popular LMC Titan’s Muneca 5H/367 “Sophie” cow that was a many times champion for the Roy Baring Family. Black Perfecto came about his good looks honestly as both his sire and dam were stout structured, well- balanced breed improvers that did us a great job.
It’s tough to find a great black baldy, but we believe we have one in the Jud bull. He is an impressive prospect that is deep-sided, well-balanced and loaded with eye appeal. Jake is likely the most capacious from the side and has an attractive black motley face color pattern like Jud. He is smooth made, loose in his design and plenty long bodied. Jeb is solid red and real good. He has everything the black bulls have in a red package. If you dislike a straight-legged one like we do, Jeb comes with a notch extra set in his pastern and features a stout structure from the ground up. Either way you slice it, we believe we are offering three dynamic sires with tremendous futures ahead of them.
Consignors are reserving the right to collect 200 units total, not per consignor, for their own in herd use only. Other than this reservation, full interest and full possession sells.
