The buyer of this semen is responsible for registration of all calves produced by this semen. Selling by the unit x 5 in $25 increments.
We are proud of what Mr. V8 733/7 (P/S) “Polled Phenom” has added to our program as he offers all of the important economic traits needed to improve Brahman cattle from a 71 lb. BW to top 10% Yearling Wt. EPD, a near perfect conformation, soundness, docility, fertility, excellent marbling, a tight sheath, correctness, lots of muscle with a ton of breed character, bone and pigment all supported by an extremely rare and unique pedigree being out of two popular National Champions – Miss V8 100/7 (P) and +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso – a classic JDH x V8 cross.
His sire, Mr. JDH Mr. Elmo Manso was the 2008 National Champion who has sired International and National Champions all over the Brahman world. He will go down in history as one of the more popular and profitable JDH Bulls of all time.
His dam, Miss V8 100/7 (P) was the 2010 National Champion Female and is the first and only POLLED grey female to ever do so. She is a granddaughter of + Miss V8 98/6, the matriarch of the Rachel Cutrer (BRC) POLLED program. We appreciate 100/7 for her ultra-feminine look, totally balanced phenotype, thickness, structural soundness, good udder and dark pigment. Indeed the kind of cow, you want your herd bull out of.
Polled Phenom is very docile, halter broke in two days as a yearling, passed his fertility exam at 16 mos. of age, had the highest marbling score of 4.4% IMF in his sale offering group and has a great sheath to bone ratio. He is a full sib to the popular V8 “Noble”, owned by BRC. He is one of their top herd sires and semen sellers.
