Lot 13 - HAYLIE VIATOR

Grade 12 - RABBITS -  I’m Haylie Viator a Senior at BremondISD.    My project was raising and showing Market Rabbits. Rabbit exhibitors have to keep our rabbits all year long and breed our own stock.  I’ve been raising and showing rabbits for 9 years. I’ve learned that it takes a lot of patience, effort, and responsibility.  Raising rabbits takes work during the summer because we have 30 breeder rabbits that are heavier and have thick fur.   They will die if they don’t have certain things.  I spend as much time as I can with them during my busy high school schedule.  When I get off work at night, my sister and I go out to the barn and feed water and play with our market rabbits so they’ll be gentle.  This year we unfortunately had to cancel our show due to the Corona Virus. I’ll use the funds from this sale to help with college.
