Macy is a daughter of the 2013 National Champion LMC Gold Medal bull who sired the Grand Champion Heifers at the 2018 Forth Worth and San Antonio Junior Simbrah Shows, as well as the Reserve Champion in San Antonio. On the bottom side Macy stems from the same cow family as these champions being out of the prolific BBS Jennie Walker donor. Her maternal grandsire is the breed changing 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun bull that also sired LN LMC 12th Man, LMC BBS Chloe and LMC BBS Manziel just to name a few. Macy represents what we call the GOLDEN CROSS of our Simbrah program combining the popular LMC WFC Ms. Dream Girl and Jennie Walker cows.
Macy may be one of the greenest heifers in the sale in terms of her condition, however if you study her skeleton we believe you’ll find her to be correct in her lines, have the build to be a capacious female with an attractive front end to go with it. There are a lot of uncertainties in the cattle business, however what we can seek out and place some confidence in is cattle with proven pedigrees. Macy is a maternal sib to our exciting new herd sire LMC Chairman and Morgan Culpepper’s LMC BBS FAO Diana heifer who was a high seller in a LMC GenePLUS Online Sale last year. Paternal sisters have won the Jr. Simbrah shows at Jr. Nationals, Houston, MAS Showdown, State Fair of Texas, Fort Worth, San Antonio and Reserve at San Antonio as well as the Reserve Champion American Heifer in Houston in 2017 for Mackenzie Groce, Mandi Lee, Robert Stavinoha and Caleb Fuchs.
