Grade 3 - GOATS - Hi my name is Collin Deboard. I'm a 3rd grader and this was my first year in 4-H. My project was a goat named Joe. I learned many things during this year about goats showing and responsibilities. I learned that goats require feedings twice a day and must have clean water daily. I learned how to walk and set up my goat so he could gain and show off his muscle. This was the hardest part. I learned that I must work feed and walk my goat daily. I had to make sure I was taking the best care of him. I learned the responsibility of making sure he always had these things. In the end I learned that goats require lots of time and work because they can be stubborn. I would appreciate your help with my 4-H journey to be able to continue showing goats.
