Grade 9 - LAMBS - Hello my name is Reid Wallace and I am a freshman at Franklin High School. This is my ninth year to show lambs and goats in the county fair. I chose to sell my lamb Ralph because I enjoy raising lambs the most. My dad showed lambs in the Robertson County Fair when he was young and he has worked hard to teach my brother sister and me everything he knows about them. Raising animals has taught me so much but the biggest thing is the sense of responsibility I will carry with me for a lifetime. My favorite memories are of the times I have spent in the barn with my family and animal projects. I think I enjoy it so much because it’s a time that we are all together and not distracted by work school or our phones.
