GRACIAS to La Muneca from BBS Simbrah to again be part of the Giving Thanks Sale. We are excited to be able to continue the Scholarship fund in honor of our parents, Kenneth and Mildred by offering the pick of our 2021 fall calf crop. Our parents worked hard to make a go of it in agriculture and they "encouraged" us to do the same. At the same time, they were supportive of our decision to go to college, even though neither of them had that opportunity. and when their grandkids became involved in stock shows, sporting events and such, they would make every effort to be there.
We are grateful to our parents for all that they have done for our family and our operation; its a privilege to continue this scholarship in their honor. As I write this in early December, our fall calf crop is looking very promising. Herd sires include Manziel and Staubach, two great bulls sired by Rajin Cajun and out of the AWESOME Jennie Walker. Also, Sure Shot, a 3/4 bull out of Jennie Walker sired by Long Steel Shot. All Rise, out of Pioneer Woman and sired by Mr. Hoc Broker is a super thick beef solid black bull doing an excellent job for us.
We stress that our females have good dispositions, milking ability, early maturity, and be structurally sound. Any bulls kept for breeding purposes must have that good disposition, good structure and early maturity as well thickness We encourage to consider this lot for your next show heifer or herd bull. You will not be disappointed!
From LMC - Boening Bros. bred the famous BBS Jennie Walker pictured below which we here at La Muneca in partnership with the Boenings have produced and sold 90+ calves out of her sired by three different breeds of bulls with all selling for a good premium. They are No Nonsense Cowmen that produce some of the very best Simbrahs ever made like Jennie Walker. We have been partners with them for 38 years, have enjoyed it and appreciate all that the Boening Family does for American Agriculture.
