LN Polled Haylee is a stout, smooth polled, pure Red Brahman baby doll that will make an outstanding show heifer as she has a super disposition. This calf has had the look of a show heifer since the day she was born. This heifer offers eye appeal, femininity and style with some extra bone and added muscle that is so hard to find in a polled female. In addition, Polled Haylee is long bodied, sound structured and big footed. She is also rich in breed character as she has a pure Red Brahman pedigree as studied in her first 4 generations.
Polled Haylee's sire, KR Mr Hennessy Brick 500, is a herd bull we nick named Vino that we owned with La Muneca. He is now owned by long time Red Brahman breeder Rex Glover. We have kept an outstanding group of heifers and one super herd bull prospect out of Vino. Vino is sired by +Winchester Magnum 999, which has had as big an impact on the Red Brahman breed as any Red Bull in history and out of a Fontenot bred +3X He's Got The Look 40/2 daughter. We purchased Vino as a young calf after he was Reserve calf champion at the RGVLS because we felt that like his sire, he had the potential to add bone, power, width and substance to our herd. As you can see in Polled Haylee, he does just that.
On the bottom side, Polled Haylee is out of one of our up and coming young polled red donors named LN Polled Rayleigh. As you can see in her yearling photo below, Polled Rayleigh is as attractive as you can make a Red Brahman female with some added bone and dimension in a smooth polled package. Polled Rayleigh is sired by the Register of Renown Mr CC Casanova 500/0 that has done a great job for K Bar Farms as well as many others throughout the world. He was the # 1 top point producing sire for the 2016 ABBA show year and # 2 Red sire on the five year average. Polled Rayleigh's dam is smooth polled, 3H X-Ray sired donor named LN Polled Rayne that we now own with La Muneca.
Over the last few years, we have tried to keep most of our Polled Red Brahman heifers. For this sale, we decided to share one of our very best. Although she will make a great show heifer, Polled Haylee might also be the ticket for someone who wants to start or expand their Red Polled breeding program. We are very proud of the fact that LN Polled Haylee is a fifth generation polled female raised at La Negra.
