At 28 months of age Madonna had 6 heifer calves as a result of an IVF procedure. In this group was +LMC Polled Passion 55/4 who went on to be an International Reserve Grand Champion and was recently inducted into the ABBA Register of Renown. It should also be noted that in this first calf crop and those to follow that Madonna produced a number of other show winners, donors, and herd sires. Madonna is sired by one of the breed’s foundation polled herd sires LMC WFF Pistolero and her dam is a proven donor that is sired by the Vanguard Sire (+)JDH Datapack Manso and out of the 2000 National Champion and proven donor for V8 Ranch with an International Champion daughter to her credit, +JDH Marri Holly Manso. To further validate the predictability of this genetic mating a flushmate brother to Madonna is LMC Polled Datapack who is a herd sire for ELC Cattle Co. It should also be noted that Madonna ranks in the top 20% of the breed for the economic traits of WW, YW, Marbling, and Ribeye Area making her more valuable as a breeding piece. England Cattle Co. (ECC) and K-K Cattle Co. (K-K) maintains full possession of LMC +S Polled Madonna 274/1. ECC/K-K will deliver 274/1 to TransOva Genetics for embryo work. LMC +S Polled Madonna 274/1 is to remain on ECC / K-K property for the remainder of her life, only leaving to be flushed per mutually agreed upon buyer agreement. Buyer will receive pick of the first three flushes scheduled for 2020. After first flush, buyer reserves the right to every third flush on 274/1. Buyer will be responsible for all respective flush costs including but not limited to setup fees, procedure fees and recips. Buyer will maintain ownership of all embryos collected during their respective flush and in turn any calves produced from the flush. Buyer cannot resell their flush or any embryos produced from the flush. Only live calves may be sold. ECC/K-K retains all natural calves to offset the costs associated with board, vet expenses, transportation and other expenses.
