Two Fast Nickels Fall Bull Sale

Welcome to the Two Fast Nickels Bull Sale. On behalf of our host, Black Oak Ranch and the consigners, I would like to say Thank You for taking the time to visit and view our offerings. This offering of bulls is brought to you by a group of local breeders that are very selective with their breeding programs. Their primary objective is to produce the best for you, the discriminating bull buyer.
The concept for this sale is simple. Two Fast Nickels beats a Slow Dime anytime. So if you’re in the market to buy a new bull bring your money and “Come a runnin’.” The minimum bid for each bull will be $1750, but each bull will have a reserve price and unless that reserve is met the bull will not be sold. This group of bulls will represent Fullblood Fleckvieh Simmental, Purebred Red and Black Simmental, Purebred Red and Black Angus and Purebred Simbrah.
Each bull that is mature enough to be fertility tested will be. The mature bulls that have been in a breeding program will be Trich tested. I will offer an option on the bulls that are not mature enough to be fertility tested. They are in a development program at Black Oak Ranch and can stay there, for a nominal daily fee, until old enough to test.
Black Oak Ranch and K5 Rafter Top Simmentals will be hosting an open House on Saturday November 16, 2013. Our good friend, Hugh Ragsdale will be here with his Chuck Wagon to prepare our lunch, Chuck Wagon Stew and Hot Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler. If you have not had the opportunity to meet Hugh and his family and be a part of the Chuck Wagon experience then do yourself a favor and don’t miss it. They will start serving around noon, but the camp fire coffee will be brewing sometime just after sunrise.
So come to the ranch, see the bulls and eat some stew and cobbler with us. We will have WIFI available and an On-Site staff to assist with the bidding process.
Catalog type booklets will be mailed out upon request. The catalog will have general information such as bloodlines, current EPD’s and a current picture on each bull represented. Additional information can be obtained by visiting our link on the Cattle in Motion website.

All In - All Done Sale
This Sale will feature the Cattle In Motion All In - All Done Sale Close Out Format.
With this close out, as the time counts down No Bidding can happen within 5 minutes of the close of ALL Lots. So if the Lots are set to close at 5PM and with four minutes left (4:56PM), some one bids on lot 4, then enough time is added back to the clock to allow ALL lots to have 5 minutes (new close time is 5:01PM on ALL Lots), and the countdown resumes. Then if someone bids on Lot 8 at 4:59PM, then ALL lots are extended until 5:04PM. this process will go on until no one bids for a period of 5 minutes on ANY Lot.

With this close out, as the time counts down No Bidding can happen within 5 minutes of the close of ALL Lots. So if the Lots are set to close at 7PM and with four minutes left (6:56PM), some one bids on lot 4, then enough time is added back to the clock to allow ALL lots to have 5 minutes (new close time is 7:01PM on ALL Lots), and the countdown resumes. Then if someone bids on Lot 8 at 6:59PM, then ALL lots are extended until 7:04PM. this process will go on until no one bids for a period of 5 minutes on ANY Lot.
