A BIG HEARTY THANKS goes out to our donors, bidders and buyers from LMC & Friends Giving THANKS Sale I and II Sales that have raised over $80,000 for some great causes with 100% of the proceeds being donated to various scholarship funds, organizations and charities. This year's featured recipients will be the LMC & Friends ANIMO Award, Linn San Manuel, Luis Flores Jr. and Victor Guerra Memorial Scholarship funds plus the RGV Brahman & F-1 Association, American Junior Brahman Association, AJSA Summer Classic and LSMCIC (Linn San Manuel Community Improvement Corporation).
This will be a regular online auction with some great Brahman and Simbrah semen packages, a great Polled Brahman Show & Herd Bull Prospect, a super % Simbrah Show & Herd Bull Prospect, a top commercial keeper, whitetail buck and duck- geese hunts and two special lots. We have lots to be thankful for and this is one small way to express our appreciation.
A special THANKS goes out to all of our friends who are involved with this sale for their donations. We look for this sale to get better every year as more and more good folks see the goodness of this sale. I like the two sayings "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give" and "When we recognize that a better description of fund raising is friend raising, we open limitless doors to creativity in support of our causes."
We hope that this will be a Role Model sale that other breeders from other areas and other breeds will want to emulate to get more breeders to share their genetics and give back to our great industry and society. We extend our gratitude to everyone who has helped us along the way with a special THANKS to Tim & Erin Lockhart for their assistance with this project. The sale will be right before Thanksgiving, November 19-22, 2016.
We also want to invite you to participate in the upcoming The Brahman Foundation FUND the FUTURE Online Sale I to be held on December 10-13 right here on www.cattleinmotion.com. There will be some awesome Brahman genetics and hunts selling. One of the many highlights of our first year was the Leadership Camp we co-hosted with AJBA at Texas A&M for many of our AJBA members. Close Out Process
This Sale will feature the Cattle In Motion All In - All Done Sale Close Out Format.
With this close out, as the time counts down No Bidding can happen within 5 minutes of the close of ALL Lots. So if the Lots are set to close at 7PM and with four minutes left (6:56PM), some one bids on lot 4, then enough time is added back to the clock to allow ALL lots to have 5 minutes (new close time is 7:01PM on ALL Lots), and the countdown resumes. Then if someone bids on Lot 8 at 6:59PM, then ALL lots are extended until 7:04PM. this process will go on until no one bids for a period of 5 minutes on ANY Lot.
