Dear Brahman Enthusiasts:

We want to thank you for your interest in this sale.  Through the generous donations and purchases of individuals such as yourself The Brahman Foundation has raised over $300,000 that has been and will continue to be used to support the youth of the Brahman breed.  Just this past year The Brahman Foundation awarded:

$21,500 in scholarships to deserving young people

$8,400 in awards to the Showmanship Winners at the “All American”

$5,000 in a drawing where ALL kids were eligible and their chance enhanced participating in more leadership contests.

$3,000 in ANIMO Awards to reward young people who work hard and help others

$1,000 to the OVERALL High Point All Around Winner

Additional Monies to State & Regional Brahman Associations to assist them in providing programs to reward young people and expand Brahman promotion

Lastly, The Brahman Foundation hosts a Leadership Camp each year where selected individuals meet for a 5 day camp to learn more about the industry, leadership, the Brahman breed and form relationships with other young people with the same interest.

We could go on and on about the value of The Brahman Foundation but we recently received this letter from AJBA Member Meghan Lambert and we think that she says it best!

Dear Friends,

I am so excited  to support The Brahman Foundation with a donation this year.  In 2015, my life changed in so many ways.  I was able to show a Brahman heifer for the first time at the Texas major shows and I got involved with the junior Brahman association.  My heifer, Sweetheart, won Reserve Junior Champion at the National show in Texarkana and I was 100% dedicated to showing Brahman cattle.

During the awards banquet, I won the very first ANIMO award.  That night Mr. Carlos explained that  ANIMO is commitment, dedication and desire to do good things and I have tried to live up to that every day.  After the show, The Brahman Foundation began.  I am so honored that Sweetheart and I  are the logo for a foundation that supports juniors like The Brahman Foundation does.  This summer I got to attend The Brahman Foundation camp in Kingsville, Texas.  I learned so much from experts in the cattle industry and I had a blast while we were at camp.  The Brahman Foundation does awesome things for juniors in this breed  and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us!

Love Always,

Meg
