ABBA Performance Tested Bull Sale - 2017

The American Brahman Breeder’s Association is proud to offer you our 3rd annual Performance Tested Brahman Bull offering. This program was designed to help our breeders not only collect data, but showcase their programs in a 100% data based bull test. What you see offered in this sale are the fruits of breeding programs throughout the country and cutting edge performance genetics.
Some Items you need to know about these bulls:
- All bulls were sifted by an independent 3 man commercial panel for structural problems, and gross phenotypic defects. They were developed by the good folks at TEXANA FEEDERS LTD. – Floresville, TX in grass traps with a forage based ration.
- These bulls are in optimum condition and are purposely not fat nor over conditioned. Bulls can be picked up at Texana Feeders October 30- Nov 3.
- All of these bulls are ABBA PARENTAGE VERIFIED and have been entered into the association’s DNA database. Buyers will receive a transferred registration certificate.
- These bulls have been evaluated for disposition scores (1-5) any score of a 4 or more have been sifted.
- All offspring produced from these bulls on any type of female will be eligible for participation in ABBA’s E.A.R. Program which is a data driven cooperative feeding and harvesting program. Please contact ABBA for more information.
The ABBA’s Research and Breed Improvement Committee has worked hard to serve you, the prospective buyer, and our membership to place quality Brahman bulls in US cowherds. We take performance and the future of Brahman Cattle seriously. With that in mind current ABBA leadership is working around the clock to secure ABBA’s position as a global protein producer. Our heart as an association however remains at home and in service to those of you who need to “add a little ear” to your program.

Close Out Process
This Sale will feature the Cattle In Motion All In - All Done Sale Close Out Format.
With this close out, as the time counts down No Bidding can happen within 5 minutes of the close of ALL Lots. So if the Lots are set to close at 7PM and with four minutes left (6:56PM), some one bids on lot 4, then enough time is added back to the clock to allow ALL lots to have 5 minutes (new close time is 7:01PM on ALL Lots), and the countdown resumes. Then if someone bids on Lot 8 at 6:59PM, then ALL lots are extended until 7:04PM. this process will go on until no one bids for a period of 5 minutes on ANY Lot.
